Polar Skin™ Mini-Mesh

Polar Skin™ Mini-Mesh is the foundation of the Polar Skin™ family of products.  Polar Skin™ Mini-Mesh is a proprietary “smart” textile treated with a one-of-a-kind polymer.  Polar Skin™ Mini-Mesh is temperature-reactive.  This means that it can actually sense an elevated body temperature and transform to promote cooling.  In addition to this, Polar Skin™ Mini-Mesh is moisture-leveling, air-permeable, and antimicrobial.
In testing conducted by the University of Tennessee Nonwovens Research Lab (UTNRL), Polar Skin™ Mini-Mesh profoundly outperformed 130 thread count sheets (a common material used in ad hoc treatment modalities):
  • PSMM has a 250% greater liquid absorptive capacity
  • PSMM allows for 3.5 times greater airflow
  • PSMM has 23 times the wicking capacity
  • PSMM dries at 1/3 the rate
